Reide Beatty graduated from Wayne State University with a Fine Arts degree in Dance. Ms. Reide has been a competitive dancer her entire life, and is proficient in all styles of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, and contemporary. She has worked alongside a number of professional choreographers such as Tricia Miranda, Brian Friedman, Melissa Williams, Fatima Robinson. She has been cast as a dancer in the industry elite performances such like the Pan Am games, Detroit Lions halftime show, shows for various artists, Jesse McCartney, Majid Jordan, Melanie Fiona and many more. Ms. Reide brings a depth of knowledge to The Studio Centre from her extensive technical and physical training. Her inspiring teaching style stems from the idea that the mind, body, and soul connect to create a full body understanding and dance experience. She is focused on inspiring each and every individual dancer, while encouraging them to recognize their own ability within to reach their full potential as dancers. Dance has always been a passion of Ms Reide’s and it has helped shape her into the woman, and teacher, that she is today. Ms. Reide is excited for the opportunity to be able to give back and share this gift with other dancers. Being able to mold and mentor new dancers, as she passes on her artistic creativity through movement and choreographed pieces, is something that Ms. Reide considers an honor.
