About Miss Drew (She/Her)

Drew Brown is from the town of Muskegon, MI, where she discovered her love for dance at the age of three. As the years passed, her passion for movement only grew stronger. At age ten, Drew joined the competition team at Dream Makers Dance Studio, venturing into the world of competitive dance. Ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theatre were the styles she began with. Soon, Drew found herself assisting in teaching classes and even choreographing her own solos and her sisters' routines at the age of 14 and 15.

During the pandemic, she continued to train. She began dancing for Dance Dimensions in Grand Rapids and even explored breakdancing. Drew's journey led her to conventions like Nuvo, Hollywood Vibe, NYCDA, and Monsters of Hip-Hop, and she attended competitions such as Hall of Fame, Legacy, Showbiz, and many more. Graduating only fueled her desire to share her passion. Drew guest choreographed solos and duets and taught summer camps. She cherished seeing her students blossom into the dancers they dreamt to be.

Now, Drew balances her love for dance with her studies in environmental and earth sciences at the University of Michigan, minoring in dance. Teaching and choreographing for over 5 years, she spreads her passion through masterclasses at local studios.

As a teacher, Drew makes it her goal to spread love and passion for dance as well as create a comfortable environment for all her students.
