We know that summer in Michigan is a time for adventure, family vacations, and sun-drenched camps. To help our dancers stay in technical shape without missing out on seasonal fun, The Studio Centre offers a specialized, condensed 6-week summer session.
To give you the ultimate flexibility, we offer two distinct ways to participate:
Option 1: Enroll (The Full Experience) If you are looking for consistency and routine, Enrollment is the perfect choice.
- How it works: You commit to the full 6-week session for your chosen classes.
- Tuition: Enrollment follows our standard tuition structure, securing your spot in the class for the entire summer.
- Best for: Dancers looking to make significant progress, master new choreography, and maintain a steady dance schedule.
Option 2: Drop-In (Maximum Flexibility) We understand that you might be at the lake one week and at the studio the next! - - Our Drop-In option is designed for dancers who need a "pay-as-you-go" approach.
- How it works: Simply select and pay for the individual classes you are able to attend.
- Payment: You pay a flat per-class fee only for the dates you show up.
- Best for: Families with travel plans or rotating camp schedules who still want to fit in great dance training whenever they are in town.

PLEASE NOTE: Dancers who arrive 15 mins late for dance class will be asked to sit out of class to reduce the risk of injury after missing warm up. Ballet is a required class while taking other styles of dance. Scroll below for the 2025-2026 class placement information. Please enroll in the class level your dancer was in for the 2025-2026 dance season.

Placement Levels:
TSC is a technical dance school requiring all dancers to enroll in at least one ballet class. We place our dancers in levels based on skill, not by age. Dancers will be placed in levels based on Mr. Tyler/TSC staff's discretion to set each student up for success. For example, if a student is in 8th grade but has never danced before they will be placed in Level 2.
Please note: Dancers may be placed in different levels for different dance styles.
Please contact The Studio Centre before enrolling in a class level higher than prior session. Still not sure which class level you child should be placed in? Contact TSC via email: thestudiocentrellc@gmail.com.

Private Lessons:
There are limited time slots for private lessons. Private Lessons are for Level 3 dancers and above. Dancers who are interested in a private lesson must be enrolled in at least two weekly ballet classes. Dancers will need to write an essay explaining what inspires them to dance, and why they would like to take private lessons (no more than one typed page). In the essay, please let us know which private lesson option you would prefer (see below).
Please note, not all dancers will be granted a private lesson. A private lesson does not equal a guaranteed solo in the dance recital. Private lessons are to work on technique and skills to better the dancer in class. Private lessons will be granted to students with the following criteria: work ethic, attitude, attendance, respect to others, passion for dance and or wanting to pursue a dance career. Email thestudiocentrellc@gmail.com with your essay.
Private lessons options:
Once a month - 45 minute private lesson - $90/month
Bi-weekly 45 minute private lessons - $150/month
