About Miss Noor (She/Her)
 

Noor Kaffarani is a dance artist, educator, and choreographer based in Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Dance from Wayne State University, where she was recognized as the Outstanding B.S. Dance Graduate and completed a curricular internship in dance science. Noor has performed professionally with ConteXture Dance Detroit and Detroit Dance Collective, as well as with To Sangana African Dance Company and Dance Workshop. Her choreographic work, Meeting Grounds., was selected for Wayne State University’s Annual Spring Dance Concert, and she has been selected as an artist for both the FLOCK Dance Intensive and Arts Lab: Desert Peaks.
With over three years of teaching experience, Noor has worked with dancers across a wide range of ages and levels in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, and hip-hop. Her teaching is rooted in strong technical foundations, thoughtful alignment, and age-appropriate instruction while encouraging each dancer’s confidence, musicality, and individual artistry. She strives to create a supportive and engaging classroom where students are challenged to grow as both technicians and artists.
